The official lighting ceremony takes place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 6:30 PM.

From then on, Calle Larios (and other central streets) becomes a luminous tunnel with medallions, stars, decorated columns… a Christmas setting that takes your breath away.

The light and sound show runs three times each night: 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM, and 10:00 PM.
Like all good things, it has an expiration date: it will be active until January 5, 2026.

In 2025, Málaga Cathedral will shine again with a spectacular Christmas mapping called “The Fisher of Dreams,” a tribute in images, light, and sound to the old fishermen of the city.
The projection is displayed on the south tower/facade of the Cathedral, facing Molina Lario street.

• Showtimes: 7:00 PM, 8:30 PM, and 10:00 PM (no shows on December 24 or 31)

El Corte Inglés Christmas Market Málaga (around its flagship store at Plaza Antonio Banderas / Avenida Andalucía) — Christmas stalls, gifts, decorations, sweets, a comfortable central environment, ideal for last-minute shopping or sheltering from cooler weather.

• The mailboxes are available until January 5 — the deadline to submit letters.
